I hired Bridge City Improv to prank my friends and family at our post-wedding party of 100+ people, and I was amazed! We worked together to curate a character as my mom’s local handyman, how it would play out, who would be in on it, and how the reveal would go down. It was amazing to see him mingle, working the crowd to create funny little memories for everyone, all leading up to a hilarious toast when we let the secret out. Bridge City Improv is run by veteran Portland improvisers Beau and Lisa Brousseau. Founded in 2018, BCI has produced shows at Portland Center Stage, The Siren Theater, Echo Theater, Performance Works NW, and Milwaukie’s Chapel Theatre— culminating in the 2026 opening of its own space in the heart of downtown Milwaukie. Dedicated to showcasing top talent, Bridge City brings together some of the best improv comedians and entertainers in the region for smart, high-energy, one-of-a-kind performances.
